The Vault - The Prodigy Experience documentary
Early 90s UK is gripped by rave culture. The Government are trying to shut it down by rushing through legislation, so the Prodigy go and mess things up by smashing up the charts
‘Rave for Kids’ exclaimed the NME. The truth is this was one of the genres first LPs and the tunes on it still rock dancefloors, tents and Vauxhall Nova’s around the world to this day

The Vault - Dr Dre documentary 2001
From the launch of the Vault in January Dr Dre was instantly one of the most requested artists.
It was a hard decision between this and his debut, the Chronic. But coming twelve years after N.W.A. made their mark, this proved Dre as one of the enduring sounds of hip-hop

An album that means alot to me personally as one of my first introductions to a true classic of the genre, if you...

First New Medicine 8 Compositions on New Label -...
Well Mondays Mean Music and there’s a WICKED double A-side release today from Medicine 8
On Mercury Injection Leticia La Bruja’s spoken vocals build a hypnotic rhythm that will remind dance fans of Peaches Fuck The Pain Away and Daft Punk’s Technologic. Unlike those songs though, the robotic vocals are given a warm thrust from a grooving bassline that puts the disco into this acid-disco tune.

New Music Mix For Your Delectation
Rick Lee’s Fuck-R’n’B mix by rickLOUDER
You know the days – the first thing your ears absorb is the same old parade of talentless rhythm’n’bullshit. I couldn’t stand it any longer so decided to make this as an antidote.
There’s a bit of electro, a bit of techno, a wicked rock remix, a couple of serious basslines and some chillwave in there by some super talented...

Covers – Who do you think you are?
This really pissed me off last week
Taking on another artist’s creation is a major decision for anyone. It’s practically unheard of in the art world, yet some singers have the relative balls to walk up to the Mona Lisa and say “Do you know what, I reckon I could make that a bit better.” Amazingly, some succeed.
So whilst Glee think that by adding a little bit of Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and a whole...
"I Can Smell Bombs, But He Can Smell Medicine"

These tunes were quickly taken off youtube a month ago, which should be a good sign. Naturally for a leak the quality’s low but they certainly sound Justice-y.
Heads and Heart Attack explore a dark, more subtle approach. AFAS is a great uplifting march that echoes the old stuff closer. Demon Says has a wicked drop after a couple of minutes whilst FTWM is a dreamy nod to Daft Punk’s...
